اذا كنتوا من متابعيني من زمان فأكيد انكم تدرون انه انا و ج وايد نحب السفرات اللي يكون جوها فيه بحر و تان و حمامات سباحة ، و لأني انا متحجبة ، لازم اختيارتنا للدولة و الفنادق و المنتجعات تكون صح و تناسبني
الحمدالله يا رب انه بعد تقريبا 8 سنين زواج و الله يتمم علينا ، سفراتي لي الحين بالنسبة لي شهر عسل ، من كل ناحية حتى من ناحية التجهيز ، اشتري ملابس يديدة اغير بشكلي و طبعا الأهم اني اضعف و اوصل الوزن اللي ابيه و هالشي ما سويته السنة بس مشالله ج قدر يوصل وزنه

If u are following or reading my blog for a while , you will be aware that we are big fans of beach/ pool and resorts vacations yet , because I am wearing hijab , we have to be very careful while choosing the perfect destination , hotel etc...
After almost 8 years of marriage , I am thanking God that my vacations are still honeymoons ,starting with the preparations , the new looks , new outfits and ending up with a target to achieve the perfect body .
I didn't reach my goal for this trip but j did . Mashalah :/
ج كان وايد يسولف عن ميكونوس و انه وده يروح مع ربعه طبعا ، و انا عارفة الوضع هناك او عبالي اني عارفة الوضع ، الديجي و الحفلات طول الليل و النهار و البنات طبعا مو بيكيني ممكن اكثر و اشياء اكثر و كل هذا طبعا عرفته من يوتيوب لأن ج شاطر وايد لما يسوي سيرج بيوتيوب و الحفلات اللي قاعده تطلع لنا صدمة من صدمات حياتي لكن انا كنت بعد اسوي سيرج و اقرا ، يا ربي فيها اماكن حلوة مو معقولة بس هالشي ؟؟
ما كان وايد مقتنع لما قلت له نبي نروح و ما الومه الصراحة هذي الفكرة منتشرة بين كل الشباب الكويتين و اللي يروحون مع ربعهم و يقولون حق زوجاتهم الديرة ما تصلح (راح اخرب عليكم عدل )يعني مع الرفيجات ( و اسفة على هالكلمة )كل الأشياء اللي
تونس تسوونها بس مع الزوجة لأ
انا اكره العقليات الكويتية ، و الحمدالله انا من بداية زواجي اتفقنا و تفاهمنا انه احنا مو زوج و زوجة عاديين و الحمدالله يا رب كل شي صار مثل ما احنا نبي
و لأني اخترت هالحياة مع ج هالشي وايد سهل لي الموضوع اني اقنعه بالروحة و تقبل مني الإقتراح
و لأن احنا نحب نسافر مع بعض (وايد قالوا لي انهم ما يقدرون يقعدون ويكند كامل مع ازواجهم بروحهم )و هالشي ترى يضايقني لما اسمع وحده تقول جذي
اقتنع ووثق فيني و انا قررت اني انا راح اتحمل مسؤلية تخطيطي
بديت السيرج ، وين راح نقعد ،و شلون الطيران ، و شلون الطريقة و الطيران الداخلي و الفنادق
عرفت شي مهم انه الجزيرة فيها وايد شواطئ غير الأثنين اللي وايد نسمع فيهم

في شي مهم لازم اقوله اني تعودت اني ما ابدا اخطط و احجز الا بعد ما اصلي صلاة استخارة و الحمدالله يا رب الله موفقني بهالشي

و ثاني يوم افتح ايميلي و لا القى عرض من الخطوط الجوية القطرية و كان باقي له جم ساعة و يخلص و خلاص قررت احجز لأن السعر صدمة الصراحة ، جم تتوقعون ؟؟؟

حددت الأيام و تأكدت اني ما راح اقعد ترانزيت وايد بالدوحة و كانت الخطة اني اقعد يوم بأثينا لأني مو عارفة بالضبط شلون طريقة التنقل و شلون بنروح مكانوس و حجزت
j told me plenty of times about Mykonos & how he was really excited to visit it , with his friends .
I know how is it there - thanks to youtube- partying all night / day , topless girls & more.....
At the beginning he was not accepting the idea of going to Mykonos with me as a married couple . I don't blame him , because when I asked many married women , mostly all of them answered that their husbands thoughts about Mykonos was:
Not suitable for a wife !!
So , if she was a "girlfriend " will you go with her ?? of course yes
I really do hate how closed minded are some Kuwaiti guys , I was giving j the impressions all these years that we are not a typical Kuwaiti couple , this helps me a lot when I decided to present the idea of spending the vacation in Mykonos this summer .
I am blessed that we both love to travel together ( yes there are some couples never spend a weekend by themselves ) after all , I was taking off those amazing adventures with my best friend , the only person I wanted to share the most amazing experiences of my life with .
So the first step is to : search
I searched and goggled for weeks about the island & I noticed that there are many different organized beaches , not only the famous " Paradise " & "Super Paradise "
Amazing restaurants , cafes , beautiful town and of course many accommodations with privet pools which are the 1st preference for me .
We agreed on everything & I started to plan for the trip
To my luck , I checked my email and there was a promotional email from Qatar airways , for the (4days sale) promo that is going to end in few hours I booked the tickets with a very reasonable price or I can I say "cheep" ???

خلصنا الطيران و بديت اشوف الفنادق ، انا شايفة اكثر من فندق فيهم حمامات سباحة

و خلاص توقعت انه كل شي جاهز
راح نقعد يوم بأثينا و راح نطير ثاني يوم ميكانوس ، مابي اروح بالعبارة الصراحة نوعي ادوخ و الطريج ساعتين و بالطيارة تقريبا 35 دقيقة
عاد هني انا تنرفزت متوهقة و مو عارفة وين احجز و لوية
و مع حوسة دوامي و نفسيتي توهقت وعصبت و قلت حق ج كيفك شوف لنا سفريات
و لأن احنا عمرنا ما حجزنا من سفريات و كل شغلنا بروحنا وايد تنرفز ج و طبعا تهاوشنا

خلال هالفترة انا مادري شنو اللي حاشني جان ادز ايميل حق الفندق اسألهم عن الحمام السباحة و الخصوصية و ردوا علي و اصدموني انه مو برايفت وايد اللي يمي راح يشوفوني واضح
و كنسلت
و تنرفزت زيادة
آخر شي قررنا نروح السفريات ، و اللي انا كنت قاعدة ادور بتليفوني و اهو الموظف قاعد يحجز من

و الصراحة مو عارف وين الله قاطه ، و السفريات بعدين ما يعرفون الا جم فندق والمهم قلت له عن الفندق اللي انا اخترته و طلعته و حجزه لي يعني ما سوا لي شي
النصيحة الأولى
لا تروحون سفريات وفروا جهد ووقت و فلوس
كان في واحد موجود بالسفريات من فئة "عقليات الكويتين المنغلقة"فجأة دش بالموضوع و قال حق ج ترى ميكونوس ما تصلح
انا ودي اطقه طبعا بس ما اقدر ارد و لا جان ج ذبحني
المهم انا حجزنا و خلصنا و توكلنا على الله
قعدنا ليلة بأثينا و انشالله راح اكتب عن اثينا بعدين
Anyway , I kept searching , reading reviews and checking travelers blogs to know what hotels should I book , till I decide to book a room with a privet pool at Cavo Tago
So , I thought we are done
Our trip was like that : a one night stay at Athen , next day we reach Mykonos by plane , I am not interested on fairies
I was really confused , I don't know where to stay in Athens , which hotel is the best and let me be honest , I was really tired at work and I don't want to look for more , so I asked j if he can go to any travel agency to plan the rest .
Because we always plan our own trips , he asked his friends to recommend one for us .
While he was doing all that , I noticed that in some reviews , the privet pool in Cavo Tago wasn't really so privet & this will not work for me , I need to get a tan and enjoy my time , I contacted the hotel & they told me that too , it is not that privet .
I was confused , what to do , so I insisted to go to that agency while J wasn't agree to that Idea
There at the travel agency I was looking up and searching for more hotels , and that guy wasn't helpful , he was checking the prices from booking.com ! which I am already doing that , I found a hotel & suggested it to him and that's it we ended up paying the same if I was booking it by my own .
There was another guy listing to us so I don't know how he had the courage to intrude and speak up , of course he wasn't looking at me as if I am invisible and said : no no don't go to Mykonos If u are going with your wife !!!
Excuse me !!! The wife is here stupid , typical , closed- minded guy
Anyway we ended up booking with the resort I choose .
So my 1st tip : U don't need a travel agency , just plan your trip online & u will be saving time & money
